After Roy has not been a WR stud yet, you still have a hard on for him. Give me Larry Fitz over him any day.
Who would be your top FF WR on your board and how do you think others will fare this season. A few thoughts....
I really think Roy Williams can have a big year. He and Kitna have 1 year together under their belt and in Martz offense. And then with the addition of Calvin and they still have Furrey...
I wonder how big of a year Steve Smith will have. I know he was hurt last year, but the Panthers have lost some talent the last two years also.
From what Im reading, T.O. looks to have a big year. Dallas is really making him a focal point in their offense. Something he wasn't last year. They have him playing in differents spots and in the slot. Im leaning towards making giving him my #1 WR ranking.
Chad will be good, I just didn't like the inconsistancy from him last year. He had 2 REALLY huge games that made his stats ballon, but he started the year off horribly and in FF, Im looking for consistancy.
As far as consistancy, can't go wrong with Harrison or Wayne. Gonzo would be a nice sleeper pick playing the slot WR in the Colts offense(see Brandon Stokley a couple of years ago)

Reggie Wayne, and Anthony Gonzalez (Indianapolis) as someone to watch out for.
Colston
Steve Smith
Reggie Wayne
T.O.
Torry Holt
Javon Walker
Are my top picks
I will again be taking a chance on Matt Jones. I will also take a chance on Cotchery
Stay away from Randy Moss
Roy has NOT been a fantasy stud yet?? Where were you last year, in last place or something? Roy was 4th in Recieving yards last year and at a few times last year was #1. Larry Fitz missed 3 games, but was still 24th in the league in Recieving yards. Not to mention Larry has had more recieving talent around him, something Roy will have this year.
I just did a free fantasy football league draft last night. I ended up getting Steve Smith, Terrell Owens & Roy Williams![]()
Moss will have a big year. I have a feeling he is gonna be back to his old self when he was tearin it up with the Vikings. Plus he will be happy and motivated because he has a good QB and is on a team that has a good chance to win the Superbowl.
Mt reasoning isnt because I think Randy will be pissed off or not try hard, just that the Pats added so many recievers this year that I dont think he will get that many balls thrown to him
Nice, who were your RBs?
He is never consistent week to week, but go ahead and draft him in the first round, you wont see any complaints from me!!
I think Moss will be productive. A decent #2 WR, a very good #3 WR. But he won't be tearing up the league with 1600 and 17tds like it was 2003 again. But he is not going to be horrible like he was in Oakland. NE has alot of weapons in the passing game now and Brady is a distributor, and they have a good running game, so yes Moss will be productive, but like you said, he won't be getting many balls thrown his way. How many NE stud WR have we seen in the Brady era??? That should be your answer right there.
You can claim that, but thats not the truth. Besides we are talking about predicting next year. People screw up in FF because they try to predicate a players success based on "last year". If you want to do that then go ahead, you wont hear ANY complaints from a champion.
Actually, I was just looking at his game log, and it is kind of the truth.
He had 8 games under 80 yards, and in those games had 1 td. He only had 7 total, so I wouldnt say that those are stud numbers. He will get more tds next year I think, but I also think that his 1300 yards will go down a couple of hundred
Damn! Well done.I just did a free fantasy football league draft last night. I ended up getting Steve Smith, Terrell Owens & Roy Williams![]()
The way they've imporved their offense, and with Martz second year running the offense there is no way his numbers drop a couple hundred!! Come on. I look for 1300+ and at least 11 tds. People should know Roy was double teamed alot last year, that is why Furrey had such huge numbers. Now with Furrey, Williams and Calvin, teams can't double him any more, the offense will open up and Roy will get his trust me.
I'd have to agree here. I had Roy last year and won some games with him. I expect him to put up Torry Holt type numbers now.
Wesley Welker will lead NE in receptions, write that down.
My 2 RBs are Frank Gore and Thomas Jones.
Who are the best #2 WRs on a team, that could give you quality numbers as a #2 Fantasy WR. Im thinking T.J. Whosyourmama, Reggie Wayne(the truth), Terry Glenn, Anquan Boldin. Anyothers?
Wayne, T.J. Glenn and Boldin are pretty much the class of #2 WRs and put up better numbers than alot of teams #1's . On thing to look for is how good is the offense of the team a WR is on. For example Wayne is #2 on his team, but plays for a prolific offense, while Lee Evans is #1 on his team yet plays for Buffallo. You are going to want Wayne over Lee, for consistancy and just better fantasy numbers.
Take Anthony Gonzalez if he falls deep in the draft. He will be Peyton's new slot buddy. Those guys always rack up yards and TD's
Gonzo is going be pretty productive in that offense, like stokley a few years ago
what do you think we'll see from Braylon this year...Im puzzled by the Browns. I could see production, but is it going to happen.
