Does it hurt? If not, you don't need to have it pulled.
I have all four of mine...although I don't think I have THAT much wisdom.
Mine is coming out. I can see it. Do I need to have it taken out? If so, can it wait until September?

I have all of mine too. But I had 4 teeth pulled for braces, so that's probably why.
Here is some conventional wisdom, rub some or skeet on it and the pain will go away.
The gums just hurt because it's coming out but it's not bad.
Just make sure to keep it medicated with whiskey and you'll be fine.
How old are you reverend? Don't those usually come out when you're in your late teens? I thought you were a 30-something.
I didn't get mine pulled until I was 28.
I'm 27 or 28. One of those.
I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I'm either very smart or I have a big-ass mouth.
I had all my wisdom teeth by 17. They didn't help me do well on my finals that year, though.
My 12 year old has only lost 8 teeth with none loose or trying to come in. Weird.
Get a teething ring or two. Keep one in the freezer, and rotate.
3 of my 4 surfaced when I was around 19. One never did.
I had the 3 erupted ones pulled about a year and a half ago. It's not a fun experience. If yours doesn't bother you I'd pass on getting it removed.
I got my bottoms by 18 they weren't entirely out and the top ones were just starting to break the gumline
i got them removed and enjoyed the painkillers.
its easy, but you turn into a fool shortly after.
Cocaine is much more effective.
the longer you wait, the more the roots will wrap around your other teeth's roots, and the more painful it will be to have them removed later. having teeth shattered in your gums and the dentist digging for the pieces is not fun. i had mine done outpatient when i was 16, and i was given tylenol and drove home.
I still have two remaining, and I remain a smart mofo.
So, get rid of two and keep two that way you don't loss you smartness.

Huh? I Worked for Dentists & I swear, I've never heard of that!
Not saying it ain't so, as I had to go to the Hospital & have mine removed, cuz I had a cist under one of mine![]()
Yea for drugs![]()
get it done sooner rather than later. and enjoy the vicodin.
as long as you treat them better than your zits, you'll be alright.
This is very true, they have been quite flabby and misshapen as of late.
I liked it better when you had a picture of you as your avatar.
Now there's nothing nice to look at, and this makes me sad.
