Would you trade Dirk for Dwight Howard and all you can eat wings at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Plano while listening to the Josh Daniels band?
I would trade anyone in the league not named Duncan or LeBron for Dwight Howard.
We need Dirk to spread the court out. I don't see a reason to break the chemistry.
Better rebounding?
Interior scoring?
MUCH better defense?
Some balls?
The paint will get crowded unless we trade some of the other players for more outside shooting. Orlando wouldn't do it anyway as they are building for the future.
Alright changed my mind. I just looked up some of his stats. His rebounding average right now is sick. He also is plus 13.7 on 82games.com.
Sorry. I didn't realize how much D. Howard has improved.
Dallas doesn't have what it takes anymore. But then again, they never did.
A trade is needed in Dallas. I don't know why everyone keeps denying that this team is in trouble. Sure they've won the last five, but none of those other than Phoenix by only 3 which was lucky, was a quality win.
Two out of their next 4 are Utah and Golden State. I sense trouble....
we're fine with Dirk for now.....although we consider a trade after this season if every thing comes crashing down. And if we don't win it that doesn't mean make a trade either.....only one team can win it all folks....
and yes to the all you can wings....?? TELL ME MORE!
SEE: '06 & '07 playoffs![]()
Howard in ANY trade (aside from Duncan) plus some wings is amazing!![]()
Do you think the Mavs are good enough on D (or consistent enough on O) to make a le run?
They played GREAT D in 06 but I haven't seen anything like that since then.
Yes. It doesn't mean they will win a le, but they're capable.Do you think the Mavs are good enough on D (or consistent enough on O) to make a le run?
You must not have watched any of their regular season games last year. And if you want to make the comment that the "regular season doesn't matter," they carried over their struggles with Golden State from the regular to the postseason. They played GREAT D in 06 but I haven't seen anything like that since then.
You know...if the playoffs started today and GS somehow beat PHX in the first round...
GSW V. DAS in RD2!!!
Sweeeeeet!
The ratings for that series would probably shatter records for round 2 playoffs.
So was it a lucky win? Or a quality win? I don't see how it can be both, Sir Jeff.
you actually read what he writes?
back to the topic...i don't see why dallas wouldn't be jumping over this deal. DHoward opens their window for many more years.
It was a lucky win. All that happened was Dallas made their shots and Phoenix missed their's. There's no skill required for that type of thing to happen.
uh, yeah. duh. its a no brainer.
even the spurs will have to think deep and hard in dealing duncan for dwight before eventually saying no.
Then how do the Spurs win?
By simply making the shots they're supposed to make?![]()
Must be.![]()
