Those green Mav uniforms are ing ugly...
OK. So I'm watching the Mavs and Cavs on TNT.
Can someone tell me what ever happened to the time-honored tradition of the home team wearing the WHITE uniforms? In practically every sport, the home team will usually wear white unis and home and dark colored unis on the road - with a few exceptions.
BTW, the Mavs have decent looking home and road unis. I see no sense in them resorting to these special event, "puke-green" uniforms?
Who makes these decisions? This is the kind of that irks me about league and team marketing. It's waaaaay over the top.

The Spurs did this at Golden State recently and I didn't like seeing them in white on the road. It seems like whenever the Lakers, Cavs, or Celtics are playing, the NBA allows this crap to happen. This isn't the NFL
Yes, I agree. The marketing boys cooked this one up in the hopes of selling more replica jerseys.
At least it's better than having corporate logos plastered on the front of jerseys, as they do in soccer.
