Well, I'm from Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, a Commonwealth of the United States. Manu is my favorite player-the sole reason why I'm a super fan of Spurs. So

Wow, this has got to be the first Saipan Fan we've heard from. Didn't we nuke those islands? Or wasn't it some battlefield in WW2? My memory ain't what it used to be.

    Welcome Jamanuel.

Now, where's my damn world map.

saipan is capital of the island of saipan which is part of the marianas, guam being the largest of the chain. its a major us naval base in the pacific.

if you're talking about nuclear weapons testing, its the bikini atoll, nuked at the same time 2 piece swimwear was introduced, hence, bikini.

    welcome!

Hi 2 both of you!!! Thanks. Yup, you guys both were right about Saipan. But, historically speaking Tinian (25 minutes by boat) is quite more significant than Saipan (both in the Mariana Islands, Pacific). Tinian is where the "ENOLA GAY" was released to Japan during World War II. Just FYI only. Thanks again!!!

Hey jamanuel, you found the best message board on the net! Congratulations!

I lived in Okinawa for a couple of years, and my girlfriend's father was in Guam during WWII. He has some strange stories.

How was the typhoon season this year?
