Quantum Leap was the .

They made this ing list about it.
No Return of the Jedi?
no.
RotJ was limp.
Then again, any list that includes Starship Poopers and not RotJ is even more limp.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?
It is to laugh.
Yeah because Episodes 1 and 2 were masterpieces.

Ep 1-3 sucked worse than RotJ, esp 1-2. ESB was the zenith of the arc.
If Lucas would have left the damned teddy bears out of RotJ it would have helped.
I would respectfully disagree...but if we all agreed, message boards wouldn't be any fun.
For me..
1. Jedi (Although I could have done without the Ewoks also)
2. Star Wars
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Empire
5. Attack of the Clones
6. Phantom Menace.
Disclaimer:
This is a personal opinion, not a suggested course of action.![]()
No Alien Nation? No Dresden Files? I don't much care for this list, it only has things I HATE on it!
umm EW sucks, and starship troopers does too. futurama way too low.
Whats the date of RoTJ? Whats the time frame on the list?
Eh, EW lives up to it's reputation yet again.
The Thing (1982)
Excuse me EW, but that is more than 25 yrs ago....say more like 27 yrs.
Nevermind....my math is bad tonight. It is right at 25 yrs.
They have Star Trek II at #5...I am a big trek fan, but if you include this you must include Return of the Jedi.
The only Star Wars stuff was the Clone Wars cartoon? WTG EW.
I would also liked to have seen Space: Above and Beyond on the list. It was short lived but really good.
Mikey - am re-watching S:AAB - not as good as I remembered. Some great eps (esp "Who watches the Watchers?"), but a lot of tripe.
Ghost in the S was a glaring admission on the list, as was Akira and Babylon 5. However, they are all on the list of glaring omission linked to the bottom of the page for The Matrix.
I still hate Lucas for LCD-ing out on the prequels... they could have been so good... gaaaaaah... what a !
PS There were 15 episodes of Firefly, not 11 as stated, and it died because Fox ran it out of sequence and kept changing its time slot, not because it was crap. It could have gone 5 seasons it was so brilliantly constructed! I consider it the big trasvesty in TV history that Firefly died prematurely. Shame on you Fox, curse you to !![]()
This needs to be adapted for the big screen.
And add "Harsh Realm" to the stack of series that Fox screwed over.
Speaking of sci-fi books that would make great movies, I think Michael A Stackpole's Battletech novels would be great, especially the clan invasion.
Wasn't there a Battletech movie supposedly in the works ages ago?
If that pushes through, all I hope is that it turns out to be better than the cartoon. Ugh.
I think EW got the list just right. Everything on there was freaking awesome.
