interesting... so do we really buy that much contraceptives... or does the rest of the country just not use them?

Forget Paris or Rome. If you're desperately seeking sex, head to San Antonio or Cincinnati instead.
Residents of these metros enjoy vigorous sex lives — at least their condom and contraceptive purchases at grocery and drug stores indicate as much. These purchases placed them in the top 10 of a survey of America's Most Lustful Cities.
In the absence of government or academic research on the sexual practices of Americans in the country's 50 largest cities, the market proved to be the best place to provide answers. Research firm ACNielsen provided a per-capita index of over-the-counter contraceptive purchases in major U.S. markets for the past 52 weeks. The average index was 100. (article goes on)
1. Denver, Colo.
2. (Tie) San Antonio, Texas
2. (Tie) Portland, Ore.
4. Seattle, Wash.
5. Salt Lake City, Utah, and Boise, Idaho
6. Washington, D.C.
7. (Tie) Cincinnati, Ohio
7. (Tie) Columbus, Ohio
9. Baltimore, Md.
10. Buffalo, N.Y. and Rochester, N.Y.

That is really interesting considering all the hispanics (catholics?) in this town who dont believe in contraception and every night.

Hey S.A., anyone want to inform all the single mothers under the age of 18 about this report?
I can't do it... I have plans in April.
You know it's not the 18 and under girls using the stuff but I do wonder how much of the condoms and lubes are bought by.

its all the boring ass cities where there is nothing to do but .... i aint got no problem with that though
Correlating condom sales to how much a city has sex...........hmmmmmmmm.
What if the people are just buying condoms to whack off in them?

Obviously E20.
If that correlation convinces people than so be it. Simpletons. A better piece of statistcal evidence or data would be to track the number of births, birth control usage (Excluding Male Condoms). Obviously a condom can be used for more than one thing and I'm sure it has. Also, who is to say that a person buys a pack of condoms they are going to have sex; what if they are just laying around unused?
