what did he hope to accomplish by benching his best scoring option?
At this point what does it matter either way really?
It's just prove how ty Thomas has been in NY. Thomas has build this team and then he realize that it didn't work ad that he had to bench some players to have a quite balanced team. I hope Dolan won't fired him and will let him coach that mess for a long time.
Makes sense at first.
They're slow. They're getting beat by Bosh badly. Bench them.
That would make sense of it was like Oberto. Or Rasho. But Randolph / Curry are centerpieces for your team. You have to figure if they're too big and slow for Bosh, that they might be too big / strong for Bosh on the offensive end? I don't know. Think glass half full. Find ways to work with what you have.
Not throw your hands in the air and say "our best just isn't good enough".
exactly. make your opponents play your game.
SHHHHH....Don't give Isiah any pointers. He might actually start winning games.
Let's hope he doesn't stumble upon this board doing a late night search on google.
Who cares?
*isiah googling "how to win basketball games"*
