No!
is it possible? had some troubles before. credit is jacked up but im bailing on my roomie and wanting to get my own place. is it possible to get an apartment with bad credit???
No!
I have been living either out of state or in houses for awhile, but last time I had an apartment in Texas (in 2001), I was told by the apt manager that as long as the rent is not more than 1/3 of your verifiable monthly income and you don't owe any other renter or leaser money, you can get in.
Not sure if that has changed or not.
thanks for that answer. if thats still true, then i should be alright. my credit is jacked but not like beyond repair. some accts on credit never paid off and they were ran up by x gf. maybe only like 3k in the hole so it aint too bad. thanks for the inffo.
I told you I don't know if its true, so take it with a grain of salt. Who knows what has happened in the last seven years.
Also, the amount of time it took you to just barely register here and then wait for an answer (that may or may not even be correct), you could have just looked the info up yourself online. You obviously have internet access. Google is your friend.
couldnt find n e thing. not all too into internet googling
Mel's pretty much on point.
Some places may ask you for a deposit if you have really poor credit, but as long as you don't owe any other property money and don't have a criminal record, you should be okay.
THANKS.
Like your signature picturre.
But explain your situation before you start filling out paperwork so there aren't excessive pulls on your credit.
Ahhh, good call. Well played.
dude you can start by calling the apartments that your interested in and ask them what their criteria is.
If you're bailing on your roomie, make sure your name isn't on the lease. Breaking a lease is a VERY big no-no as far as apartments are concerned.
I am sure you can over there, ´cause that´s a part of the reason why the world is in an economic crisis right now.
They do check your credit now unlike before. Some of the nicer places not just require the money to line up properly but require decent time on the job with a FICO up over 600. Thats relatively limited to some of the nicer places, average to below average places will probably take you in with good history and a little larger deposit. Use a relative as a reference, as if you rented a house or something from them.
