What is disconcerting is that we'll all be really happy for them beating a scrub team like the Sonics.
Anyone have their doubts at this point?
It sucks getting old, huh?

that is, if they do beat them
We'll have another "flip is switched" thread.

I still think though if we come out of this road trip 5-4 or better, we still aren't in that bad of shape.
I'm cool with more losses. They'll do more to spark a trade.
There are only 5 teams in the league that have as many or more wins than the Spurs have right now.
We aren't the whipping boy yet, old or not. I understand it seems like we are, but time will tell.
Absolutely. Let em lose a couple more! This current team is not going to repeat. It'll be a tall order to work new guys into the mix, but I like those odds better than rolling with what we've got.
When was the last time we beat a team with a winning record? The writings on the wall, and it aint that hard to read.
You guys think we can make a trade, let alone an in-season deal?
When's the last in-season trade that the Spurs have made?
When's the last good trade that the Spurs have made?
Questions.
Trading this season should actually be slightly easier for the Spurs since there isn't they aren't limited to taking back expiring contracts as they were in the past.
Rose for Mohammed was pretty good in '05. It would have been nice to have '03 Rose in the '06 Dallas series, but I'm not so sure '05 Rose would have helped a lot.
Spurs should kick their ass! But on the end it will be a win by 2 points or something like that.
Careful, baseline.
That was actually Malik Rose and conditional first-round draft picks in 2005 and 2006.
Wanna re-think that?
I think we'll pull it out but it'll be close ala the Miami game.
I'm calling it a "Spurs officially hit bottom" loss.
I hope I'm wrong, but I predict with my head and my gut, not my heart.
i predict an uninspiring victory tonight and a huge loss possible blowout on thursday
PROVE ME WRONG SPURS

Wanna re-think that?
Wanna rethink the ring that came with it? No not really.
Yeah, the Spurs can lose to the Sonics, who are horrible, 10 straight losses, but they know the Spurs are playing horribly, and old guys on the 2nd of B2B.
If the Spurs keep it close at the end, it could be a very dangerous.
I was going to start a game blog but this pretty much summed up the situation.
The Spurs need this win.
Remember baseline, that if you don't make that deal, Rasho Nesterovic is the starting center for the Spurs entering the 2005 Playoffs.
Great game blog le.
I think they play with heart tonight. The Hornets loss was nothing short of embarrassing, the loss last night was frustrating. I expect Duncan to come out with fire.
Remember the first time we met Durant? wowwe won but he gave a little scare on that one. This one is hard to stop, can rbd and can shoot 3s
the Spurs is now back to losing to winning teams. This one lost 14 straight-they can beat this one.
just don't get over confident.
BTW, our 3-pt shooting sucks in the last 2 games:hi
I'm posting this from the Admiral's Club at Sao Paulo International Airport (Guarulhos) and I arrive in San Antonio tomorrow morning. That's when the Spurs turn it around. To answer your question, not only will they win tonight, but they'll go 7-2 on this roadie.
