Started having trouble with my Road Runner, called them and it turns out that I could only connect with my computer connected directly to the cable modem, thought it was the router but I tried another and it does the same thing, can't connect to the DNS server.

    Anyone else having any trouble?

No they didn't tell me that, it just won't work with the router, I have to connect it directly.

I have roadrunner but you could never tell. As slow as this runs. And I have a router connected as well. I was told that anything running off my router will never be as fast as my pc directly connected to roadrunner. The sucky thing is that I am on my laptop most of the time. What can I do about this?

I've had trouble like that in the past.

Try calling the router company. I have D-link and they were very helpful. I've also had to call LinkSys in the past and they were more helpful than Road Runner as well. It's a bit of a hassle calling them instead of Roadrunner (whose number you probably ave memorized by now...2440-0500 right?) but it's well worth it.
