At first i thought this guy was overrated as a comedian. I just got finished listening to his viscious circle CD and i have to say i laughed quite a bit.

I think the whole bit about lying was simplistically funny.
And the whole bit about stepping out and getting caught was pretty funny..
i think i laughed the most at the relationship / argument bit...
Sure there are funnier, but i like it...
anyway, he has his moments, but he isn't that funny. i think its mostly girls that like and support him...

Dane Cook is hit or miss for me. There isn't a median for me. He's either brilliantly funny or very irritating IMO.
notice that any commercials or promos for one of his shows, they NEVER show him telling a joke.
they show him flashing that stupid ing finger thing or saying something like "dude u ever drink all night and then when u puke ur all like" - *makes odd vomit noises* or something along those lines.
thankfully i've never seen any more of his act than a 30 second commercial on comedy central.
if anybody has ever heard dane cook tell an actual joke i'd like to know. i'm guessing it didn't go over well since he avoids those and sticks to frat boy anecdotes and making up new vulgar finger gestures.

he sucks. He doesn't even tell jokes, he just makes up stories that never even happened and people laugh because they know they are expected to.
