Eight games are left on the road trip. Make eight predictions for the rest of the Spurs season.
1. Udoka will start in Finley's place at some point on the road trip.
2. The Spurs will go 6-3 on the trip.
3. One Spurs bench player will get traded for nothing (maybe for a useless player who gets waived) and the Spurs will sign Damon Stoudamire.
4. TP will struggle with his heel for the next month and Pop will reduce his minutes.
5. Manu will average 25 points a game in February.
6. TP will be healthy by March 1 and finish off the season playing incredible basketball.
7. Spurs will meet the Celtics in the Finals.
8. Bravatars.

1. Pop sticks with the starting 5 not making any changes.
2. Parker sits for two weeks, heel spurs go away, team turns it around immediately.
3. Barry, elson, and Bonner are traded.
4. Stoudamire signs with Boston.
5.Spurs win southwest division by a tie breaker over Dallas.
6. Spurs play Portland in the first round and win in 5.
7. Spurs Mavericks in western finals, spurs win in 6 thanks to a 45 point game from Ginobili and a 18 point game from Udoka.
8. Spurs beat Celtics in 6 in Finals. SA rejoices, Horry, Finley retire, Spurs sign Splitter, Darius Washington, Kurt Thomas, and Corey Maggette.
1. New York wins the Super Bowl
2. Obama becomes the 44th US President
3. A fire in the Chase Manhattan Bank corporate offices erases all records of me owing them money
4. Spurs don't rebound from this slump until the playoffs when they upset their way to a fifth le (over Detroit, not Boston)
5. Boston is eliminated in the 2nd round

I think you got the best chance at #7.
My eight predictions:
1. Spurs either go 5-4 or 4-5 on this trip.
2. Unless Parker starts playing better, Manu will have to move back into the starting lineup.
3. With the bigs outside of Duncan sucking, expect more of small ball with Udoka at power forward.
4. Bowen's shooting slump ends against the Celtics.
5. Pop gets ejected versus Cleveland.
6. Spurs will be involved in trade rumors while dangling Barry's expiring contract.
7. Unless Horry shows life, Bonner will be the third big by the end of the trip.
8. Spurs will be a seventh or eight seed by the time the trip ends and the vultures will start to circle. But as long as the Big Three are healthy, they'll make a run and end up a three or four seed.
I don't care if the Spurs win another game all season but please BEAT THE OUT OF THE SUNS WHEN YOU PLAY THEM NEXT.

7. Manu will play out of his mind in the playoffs and lead us to the Championship and win Finals MVP.
8. Everyone on ST will say they never doubted our Spurs would win it all.

2. Pop realizes Udoka is the only life left in the team

5. Tony's heel spur prognosis is poor and will take 8 months to heal if he keeps logging heavy minutes. Pop plays him less.
6. Spurs waive a player and sign a 3rd PG to let Parker rest
7. Spurs grab 5th seed and lose in the conference finals to the Suns/Mavs
8. Tony's heel spurs don't heal and requires surgery in January 2009, the one year period rest pre-req to surgically remove spurs. We win in all in 2009.
1) Spurs won't make any legit trades/signs that they desperately need
2) Manu and Udoka will be inserted into the starting lineup in place of Finley and Oberto
3) Bowen will finally hit a 3 sometime soon
4) Spurs go .500 in their rodeo trip
5) Pop gets ejected at least one game on this trip
6) Parker will miss some playing time after the trip is over

3- Udoka won't start a game unless Bruce goes down

5- there will be no trades
6- The Celtics will lose in the second round to the wizards
7- the Spurs will be the 7th seed
8- TD will get another finals MVP with the same controversy as 2005 that it should have been shared with Manu
1. Spurs will finish the road trip with a 3-6 record.
2. TP won't play the second leg of the RRT. He will be back at 80% after the ASG and be at 100% for the playoffs.
3. Spurs will trade Elson and a first round pick for Ryan Gomes.
4. Damon Stoudamire will go to Boston. Spurs will sign mike Wilks to a 10 days contract for the second leg of the RRT.
5. Spurs will have a 24-6 record after the ASG, finishing the season with a 56-26 record.
6. Spurs will win the WCF and will take their revenge on Mavs by beating them 4-2.
7. Spurs will beat Detroit 4-1 to get their 5th le.
8. Most of my predictions will be wrong.
