Tony Romo punts Jessica Simpson

Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo has reportedly dumped Jessica Simpson, who was widely blamed for costing him a shot at the Super Bowl.
"Tony is now starting to blame her himself," a pal told OK! magazine. "Before dating Jessica, he was Texas' golden boy. Now he's become a joke."
A few days after the Giants bounced the Cowboys from the playoffs, Romo called the "Dukes of Hazzard" star to tell her their romance was over.
"He said he thought it was better if they went back to being friends," a pal of hers said.
A final breaking point came when Romo told Simpson he wouldn't move to L.A. - and she responded there was no way she could leave Tinseltown.
"It was the moment he realized it wasn't going to work with Jessica in the long term," the pal told OK!.

He was a dumbass for dating her in the first place, and now he demonstrates how weak he is that he lets media perception dictate life choices. If he had any backbone at all, he wouldn't care what people write or let it guide his decisions.
He's a good QB, but he's a little too in love with the rockstar perks that go with being QB of the Dallas Cowboys. If he weren't a famous pro athlete, he strikes me as the kind of bag that would live in Addison and stand outside for a couple of hours trying to get into GhostBar.

Dude, there are plenty of anonymous, non-celebrity chicks that are just as hot as Jessica Simpson and have an IQ above room temperature. He's the QB of the Dallas Cowboys, he can have just about any woman he wants. And he chose her.
Reports are that they didn't break up and that OK Magazine made this up.
JESSICA SIMPSON's attorneys have demanded America's OK! magazine print a "prominent and unambiguous" retraction after accusing them of publishing a "smear campaign" against the singer.
