It's because Romo is mobile. He can make a play, even when the protection breaks down. He matches up better against the Giants.
But I disagree. The Patriots were head and shoulders better than Dallas.
The Cowboys match up well against the Giants, so no suprise he said that. We beat them twice in the regular season and lost in the playoffs in 3 highly compe ive games. Some consolation for the Cowboys?

Superstar columnist Tim Cowlishaw writes that the Cowboys must be kicking themselves after watching the Giants win the Super Bowl.
As Wade Phillips infamously noted the morning after the Cowboys' playoff loss, the Giants only won that game on the scoreboard. The Cowboys kicked some serious tail on the stat sheet.
If it makes the Cowboys feel any better, Michael Strahan offered quite a compliment to America's Team.
"Trust me, that is the best team we played, the Cowboys," Strahan told the New York Post.

I would of loved another shot at the pats, but my Cowboys played very undisiplined ball the last few weeks. I think the pats would of beat the 'Boys because of that.

Pats would have massacred the Cowboys.
I thought they were going to massacre the Giants, I guess we will never know what would of happened in a cowboys- patriots rematch.
Leave it up to a cowgirl fan to post something stupid like this article. YOU GUYS LOST GET OVER IT!!
I'm relatively new here, but damn there is alot of trolls on this forum.
Giants are the Spurs. Flew under the radar, no one gave them a chance (outside of the majority hating on the Pats for a loss) and they won it as a team.
Cowboys are the media hyped hollwood attention Fakers. Everyone would have made a big deal about it, Pats would have killed them imo.
I doubt it, the Pats didnt kill anyone the last 2 months of the season
neither did the cowboys
Enough of this .
The Giants beat us.
That's all there is to it.
Nothing is going to change that fact and the fact that they are the reigning World Champions.
We have to take that lump and get ready for next year. We'll have at least two chances at kicking their asses next year. If we make a couple of adjustments, I think we have the talent to take us all the way.
I don't see anywhere in this thread where a Cowboys fan said they should be champs, or that they would of beaten the Pats. Or even ing that New York won. Cowboyhater needs to get a life.
he's right. it's time to move on..coulda, woulda, shoulda,,,,
I've met two people here in Socal that was a Yankee/Cowboy/Laker fan.
Talk about bandwagoning.

Cowboys won't be winning any Superbowls while Wade Phillips is the head coach. Bottom line...
It's not about talent...it's about at ude and leadership.
Expecting to win a Superbowl with Wade Phillips as your coach is like expecting to win an NBA championship with Bob Weiss or Del Harris as your coach.
Only way to trump that is Yankee/Cowboy/Celtic/UCLA fan
Coughlin was the least of the coaches I thought were able to win a championship.
How wrong was I?
He was suppose to be fired the last 3 years.
Yeap....you thought wrong.
I bet I'm not wrong about Wade Phillips though.
you're not. I was telling Cowboys fans that when they first hired him and they were all saying, "hes the best coach out there".
I watched him in Denver for two seasons and he accomplished nothing and let the team run him rather then he run the team. He's a D coordinator and nothing more.
This is the truth. I think the plan was for Wade to keep the seat warm while Garrett gets some seasoning and gets ready to take over. The one plus for next season is if Dom Capers comes on to work with the defense, that's a big help if Brian Stewart doesn't it up.
I bet you aren't either.
The Cowboys have the talent but not the discipline needed to win a le. Not in the sense of a coach yelling and screaming and holding 5 hour practices but in the sense of penalties and mistakes. The game with the Giants was a perfect example. Over 100 penalty yard. That comes from the head coach. At times, Dallas won in spite of themselves.
Didn't the Cowboys have problems with penalties when Parcells the ultimate disciplinarian was coach?
Yes they did, that illustrates my point.
I lost interest in the Superbowl as soon as the Boys were eliminated.
