pretty cool, except i put in my parents address in San Antonio and it showed the wrong house. my parents house is about 4 houses down from the one it showed. still neat, though.
And it's not just the downtown area, either.
Go to maps.google.com and check it out. If the street/road is outlined in blue, it has a street level view.

Its only approximate pictures, and does not have every street and house.
Very cool though.
Can't see my house but I can see my aunts house...with a chair thrown in her yard. Don't know when these views were taken but I am sure the chair is still in her yard. lol

No, that was the satellite view .... the street view is pretty new, because they are already done with all of the remodelling on my old house and someone is living there already.
They didn't have it for mine.

yeah...the area around my house is undergoing construction...and it had already started when the pics were taken...
I find it kind of creepy to tell you the truth. Hopefully I wasn't doing anything I shouldn't have been doing and got photographed.
Time to get the old lawn chairs up at front of the house, some brews and a I heart google sign.
Damn that is crazy.. To me its invasion of privacy... "Who's yellow car is that in the drive way, mine is red" "Oh look I can see what's going on through the window" etc.

they had my folks on the south side, but not my side on the northwest side.
mildly ironic.
Google drove that car around SA in the fall of 2007.
Also, they will add more of the city as time goes on.
San Antonio is still not on the front page of craigslist though.
Virtual Earth 3D is better..
that is scary. but takin a vitual drive around my old neighbirhood was cool.
The main street I'm off is on there, but mine isn't.
for street view, that is.
