If the boys do not make him a franchise player, o Miami....
Cowboys must decide on Adams

In a week, the Cowboys have to decide: Do they make Flozell Adams their franchise player? Should they do so, Adams would cost about $9 million against the 2008 salary cap. Should they elect not to do so, they would risk losing their starting left tackle because he would hit the open market Feb. 29. Adams protects Tony Romo's blind side, and that cannot be understated. He will have a number of false starts during a season, but former offensive line coach Tony Sparano was willing to live with those errors because Adams had to pop out of his stance so quickly.

No .
Maybe we should deal the two picks and go for Jake Long.
Its like having the greatest salesman ever of all time but comes in drunk at least twice a week.
Get him the out of there. Always been overated and is just a penalty waiting to happen.
What do you think about trading up for Jake Long?
I would really like for us to trade up for Chris Long.
But, if we get rid of Adams, I think it would be smart to trade up for Jake Long.
Yeah, he gets false starts. The kicker, though was when I read Zimmerman's process of picking his All Pro team for CNNSI. He was looking at NFC D-lineman, and kept noticing over and over than each player had a week with 0 or maybe 1 point under his system. He started looking at who the opponent was. Guess who? Flo Adams. I'm not sure they should franchise him, but I'd definitely like to see them reach some sort of a deal for another two years, maybe.
