He's been really up and down on the road trip (shooting and defensively). But I'm glad Tim/Manu have been able to keep them winning (for the most part).

Not bad without Tony!!!

Manu will definitely need some time off to recover during the all-star break. I almost wish Tim didn't have to go so he could rest up too.
Yes, but I'm curious to see how many more minutes he's averaging.![]()
and turnovers... but the important thing is they've won more than they lost!
Unfortunately the NBA splits do not have the TO stat, but his stats in the last 10 days are not bad at all, just for fun I compared them with Kobe's, Lebron's and Wade's, and they are not that worse, except compared to Lebron's

3.2 TO ! Still a 2 to 1 ratio for a guy playing out of position alot isnt bad
let's just hope this continues in the playoffs..........WHEN IS MATTERS MOST
hey y'all.
long-time spurs fan here, but i've never stumbled over this site.
anyway, i need some help from anyone.
in order to uphold spurs pride, i challenged some laker fan who had said that the lakers hold the best record for a 9-game road trip in NBA history. guy claimed it was 7-2.
now i might be mistaken, but i'm sure that spurs went 8-1 couple years back.
can anyone provide me with a link (i've been searching endlessly) to a site, or give me the scores/dates/teams they played...
or tell me that spurs didnt got 8-1 and i'll have to tuck my tail between my legs and accept defeat!
thanks!

If you scroll down, from Jan 24 to Feb 16, they only lost once.
awesome!
thank you so much!
GO SPURS!
The Spurs set some kind of record for a road trip in 03. I believe it was consecutive wins. I think they lost the first game of that 03 road trip and won all the others. And I think that was an NBA record.
The overall record for road wins in a row I think is held by the Milwaukee Bucks...not the Lakers. Although it certainly could be the Lakers since they hold the record for the longest winning streak. But it seems like I remember the Bucks mentioned a lot when the Spurs set their record.
Maybe the Bucks hold the record for going on the longest road trip or something...
Manu Ginobili scored 46 points as the Spurs completed their nine-game road trip by defeating Cleveland. Ginobili posted per-game averages of 24.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists over that span to become the first player in NBA history to average at least 24 points, six rebounds and six assists during a road trip of at least nine games.
