I'm not sure what JAN 09 will bring but I can confirm that FEB 08 has produced the most hits since the last year's playoffs . . .
Isn't that a usual trend, though? The hits continue to increase the closer and closer we get to the playoffs?

The forum is usually slowest around December, January and February. It picks up in March and April as the Spurs enter the home stretch. Then the playoffs (May and hopefully June) are really busy. As is July and the draft. August and September are busy because of offseason moves. October and November are busy because of the beginning of the season and the new-look team. But then Spurs fans (and the Spurs) get bored for December, January and February. Rinse. Repeat.
Hopefully the Spurs still have 3-5 more years of this pattern
