congratulations!!!
today my little Maddie was born at 4:58pm, 6lb15oz, 18.5 inches long. what an amazing feeling this is. the love i feel for this little girl is hard to describe or explain. i've been up for 24+ hours now and don't feel a bit tired.

For me..it happened so fast...unexpected and there were lotsa family members around that wanted to see her so I didn't get that instant bond...it was more when everyone left and i had her on my chest while she was sleeping. Just looking at her, listening to her breathe...it just all hit me. She's perfect.

thanks everyone....yeah i got off work at 9am...then went to an appt at 9:45....they were concerned about the lack of movement so they recommended we get her out today (she was due the 21st) so we went to another appt at 11:15 where the ob/gyn said lets do it...and it was straight to the hospital at 12 and the c section was done at 4:30. long day and it's not over yet. i have to go home, let the dogs out, shower, change and come back to sleep. fun stuff...i wouldn't trade it for the world.
You should get with peewee's lovechild and you two can jack off about your kids together.

thanks everyone. i doubt i'll be posting pics....they're personal and i know how SOME of the people here can be. we'll see. what a neat feeling this is though. you hear parents and new parents try to describe it and you never really get it until you have one of your own. they can completely melt you.
