Parker will do the same thing. The old man can't keep up with the fast guys.

Paul almost because the first player since Mookie Blaylock to post a points, assists, steals triple-double, which happened 10 years ago.

i cant wait to see parker matched up against him. If we play the mavs again and tony is healthy, he might average 30 a game.

jason kidd on defense + no diop to guard the paint = parker field day

I think we will match up better with Dally now that Harris is gone, he used to hurt us a lot going to the hoop with his quickness.

The Spurs could have traded Elson for Kevin Durant and it still wouldn't have been as good of a trade for the Spurs as that Kidd trade was.

Dammit...Paul is going to break an NBA record held by the Spurs before it's all over with.

Is there any doubt that Chris Paul should be MVP??

Too bad he probably won't get it.

Did any of you watch the game or are you just going off the final boxscore? Because if you actually watched the game you'd know that Kidd wasn't always defending Paul on every play.

But it doesn't matter. I know how you guys are. You'll go off the final results and just assume that Kidd was 10' behind on every play.

i honestly dont think this trade was good for the mavs period, but ESPECIALLY against the spurs.

what was cuban thinking? he lost his chance with nash and saw his fault, so he went and got the next best thing?

I watched the game and saw Kidd play pretty badly in that he didn't pass the ball well, and he played absolutely atrocious defense.

Spin it any way you want though.

He passed the ball well enough for a guy that has been with his new team for just over 24 hours and has gone through a 90 minute practice and a walkthrough this afternoon. Not his fault Dampier has cinderblocks for hands and Eddie Jones thinks he can receive a pass while standing out of bounds. He did make some passes and ran the break (the couple times they did break) better than I've seen Harris do it. He fought through the Chandler screens well (again, something Harris wasn't always the best at) and came up with 3 steals on the night. He gets a pass because they haven't played together enough, but again - Paul's success wasn't directly attributed to Kidd defending him 1-1.

The play you speak of, I think Eddie Jones had his hands out to his sides, didn't look like he was calling for it.

Chris Paul is the best PG in the league by far this year. He is playing and impacting the game like a 6 foot Magic Johnson. Not exactly a sin to get abused by him.

I'm so glad Kurt Thomas is coming to the Spurs and not Dallas. It would've sucked if they'd gotten him to shore up their middle.
