Hey guys, with all the trades finished up and the best part of the season still to come, i wanted to start looking into the Spurs and other teams cap information as well as their assets(picks, trade exceptions, etc), so i dont have to ask for specifics over and over. Plus i'm sure with all the knowledgeable people here, some might not know where to get this stuff.

for instance i heard that after their couple trades, Seattle now has a slew of 1st and 2nd round draft picks these next two years, and a ton of expirers, potentially allowing them enough room for two max contract additions. pretty scary, although not as scary as Portland's young nucleus.

heres another good breakdown of the NBA salary cap and the Collective Bargaining agreement. It seems like most casual fans are confused about this issue, including myself.

    http://www.storytellerscontracts.inf...08salaries.htm

are all the top sites for salary info. i dont think patricia or storytellers has updated their info post trade deadline. but shams site is already up to date, and probably the most accurate numbers wise of the three.

as for trade exceptions, the espn trade machine has them listed i believe. sham is also looking into adding a page containing teams future picks, and their projected cap holds. i dont know what the timetable would be on this, or whether or not he decides he cant be arsed, which does happen from time to time.

and as you posted, larry coons site is the bible of cba info on the net.
