Over at hoopshype Artest's agent suggest that Ron-Ron will be looking for a 5 year MLE this summer. You should start campaigning now.

Maybe somebody will do that. If the market got to around a 3 year MLE it would be interesting. Artest with a 2 year deal at the MLE with a team option for the 3rd year would at least fit within the 2 year timeframe the Spurs seem to be setting up for themselves.
