second life is a "sim based" game. I DJ there late nights.

I saw a doco on Second Life - a guy who'd put his life savings ($200K) into building an accomodation complex in SL.

Do do you get paid in SL$ for your DJing? Are you making real money out of SL$?

What's the attraction of SL? Is it the fantasy aspect? I'm curious.

I saw Second Life on an episode of The Office and thought it was NBC's attempt to slam on The Sims.



I had no idea there are living, non-fictional people who actually have the time to waste their lives like that.
