Hallelujah!!!!!! Besides talking cowboys and the brick I can't listen to anything else. Especially Mike "ignore the spurs" Taylor.
I heard through a very reliable source that ESPN Radio is coming to San Antonio at the beginning of the year on 1250AM - Border Media.
For all the people that complain about sports radio options in San Antonio, you may very well soon have another choice.

I like Fox Sports radio at night. JT the Brick, Ben Maller, those guys.
That's cool though.
That is indeed good news.
I'm amazed that a market the size of San Antonio didn't already have an ESPN radio affiliate.
ESPN radio sucks. Foxsports much better. Only show I cant stand though is Shemon and J-Dub. Sczaban in the morning is the best show hands down.
Does SA pick up Sczaban locally?
ha ha ha.....beautiful. stsa.

Hopefully this is true so I don't ever have to listen to STSA again.
no lie, that guy would have me bustin a gut and waiting till the absolute last minute to get out of the car to go to work.
I wonder whether they will air SN & PTI during afternoon drive-time, or a local host? If they could get some former Spur to do a show for an hour or two, they could effectively destroy STSA.
Oh... put him opposite the ing Mav fan bag that took over for Vexler and Wally...
Wtf were they thinking?
Slightly off topic but still ESPN related. There may be a commercial development in River North that may have an ESPN Zone. Thought both the development and an attached ESPN Zone are in very early preliminary stages.
I am the opposite and probably in the minority but I like Shemon and Washington and can't stand Sczaban.
I prefer Fox but I am glad to see this happen, if it does. SA deserves more sports radio options. That is one of the things living in Lansing has better than SA....from where I am I can catch 4 different sports stations.

my money is on the other guy. any company that thought the idea of Mike Taylor in SA would work is destined to lose.
Not happening. DRE only has one opening planned - 3rd Q '08 - LA, next door to the Stapler. Victory Park offered free buildout in Dallas two years ago and DRE still declined.
Didn't realize SA doesn't have ESPN radio. Unless you have a really great local sports-guy, it won't be worth a crap. Galloways show is fantastic here but everything else pretty much sucks. The national stuff is e, the local-yocals earlier in the day are always changing around and are always horrible...
He's from up here and he's a Mavericks fan. What do you expect?
Q4T, and yes, Czabe is on 5-8 on the Ticket, by FAR the best show they have and Shemon is alright, the fact that J-Dub still has a job blows me away.
I agree that Czabe is the best thing 760 has right now. Sheeman and Washington are OK. I started out really liking Rome, but im starting to get tired of his schtik, i guess its worked for him for years now, so why change...but it get a bit played after a while...
i usually dont listen to 760 at all after 1400
Damn...that sucks...
