They're just being the overhyped flukes they're supposed to be.
They are perhaps the worst road team of any of the top 6 teams in the WC. They just lost to the Clippers the other night and they are about to lose to the T-Wolves tonight. Yes they have an impressive home record, but if you can't win on the road you will not go far in the playoffs. The Jazz IMHO should not be considered amongst the top tier teams because of this.

Didn't they just go on like a 20-4 run after getting Korver? The only one's in the west that might, might not be considered elite are the Warriors and Nuggets. Otherwise, there are 6 teams that could come out of the west.

Their problem is that Okur and Kirilenko are inconsistent. Some nights they flat-out embarrass themselves with their level of suck. And this team relies a lot on ots offense. They are an overrated defensive unit, they need to shoot well to compete. Their defensive inconsistency is the main reason I think they'll struggle to make it to the 2nd round
^^I agree, on their homecourt they shoot lights out. On the road it's very inconsistent. Utah has just been a very inconsistent team all year. They started out hot, then cooled off, picked up again after getting Korver, and seem to be cooling off again now. They are a very good team, but I just don't see them having a chance to come out of the WC.
They were lucky to even make it to the Conference Finals last year. The Rockets had a vice-grip on that series and let them back into it. And they probably would've lost to Dallas. They didn't offer up much compe ion to San Antonio.
They're just really well-coached. but they've got some weak links as others have pointed out.
Minnesota's getting much better, as far as tonight's opponent.

Jazz lost to teams they were supposed to lose to and with a fluke PG and coach,they will never make it past the mavs or even the spurs.I predict Jazz and Spurms both out by the first round. No suprises there.
