Bad for the Mavs, good for everyone else.
NEW YORK, March 5, 2008 - Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks has
been
suspended one game without pay, and his Flagrant Foul, Penalty One
against
Andrei Kirilenko of the Utah Jazz has been upgraded to a Flagrant
Foul,
Penalty Two, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive
Vice
President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 7:04 remaining in the first period of
the
Mavericks' 116-110 loss to the Jazz on Monday, March 3 at
EnergySolutions
Arena.
Nowitzki will serve his suspension when the Mavericks host the
Houston
Rockets Thursday, March 6 at American Airlines Center.
Bets on that, mother er?
Link it at least. Haven't seen any article on it online. I think you typed it up.
Like I said - care to bet on it?
I'm not telling you where I received it or heard it. But it's 100% true.
Just heard confirmation on the Radio.
It's legit--the Dallas Morning News is reporting it.

Great now Hou will cakewalk through that game
Bye Bye Mavs, Looks like Houston will notch win #17 in a row.
it, If the Mavs can't win one game without Dirk, especially a game that they desperately need to win, they in suck.
If Golden State wins tonight against Charlotte, and Dallas loses tomorrow night against Houston w/out Dirk, Dallas will move down to the 8th seed, I believe. A Suns victory against the Nuggets would help the Mavs out, then.
Howard really needs to come out of this s and prove his worth tomorrow night.
Lmao Skirt deserved it though. From the looks of it he tried to take AK down with him.
DING! DING! DING! we have a winner!
i certainly don't believe this will be a cake walk especially after watching the rockets inspired play without yao.
Too bad...but if Kobe get's a suspension for his BS than this deserves it as well.
Rockets guard Tracy McGrady on Tuesday said Dirk Nowitzki's flagrant foul on Utah's Andrei Kirilenko on Monday should earn a suspension and keep him out of Thursday's game against the Rockets. "He should be (suspended)," McGrady said. "That was a pretty hard foul. Not only that, to slam a guy to the ground like that, it was a hard foul. It should have been a flagrant-2. "Yeah, I will (be broken-hearted)," McGrady said with a broad smile. "I will. I want them to be at full strength. "You see the smile, right?" -- Houston Chronicle
it, they should start tanking for Derrick Rose.
Have Dirk & Kidd sit the rest of the year out with some David Robinson injury.
I didn't think the league would suspend one of it's "pretty boys" and the former MVP...but he deserved it. He completely THREW AK47 to the floor!
If that dip wants to prove that he's not "soft," he should concentrate on winning games and not pulling some Artest-Maxwell bull .
I hate that guy.
Tmac got his wish.
