Depends on the situation, the girl and your common interests...
For example, our first date was located in the booming town of San Angelo, TX, so we didn't have much of a choice, our first date was the movies (re-release of Star Wars to be exact) and what a freak show that was!
I think Dave & Buster's is also a great place for a first date.. a nice dinner followed by fun and games or they also have the dinner theatre or billiards, good all-around entertainment!
