LOL, 3rd best my ass. That is because most just vote who don't watch the games and just listen to the ESPN is feeding them about who is the best.
Spurs are voted as 3rd best team in NBA right now behind Lakers and Boston. You can still vote.
LOL, 3rd best my ass. That is because most just vote who don't watch the games and just listen to the ESPN is feeding them about who is the best.
These are the things that make me feel like SPAM is in full effect.
I voted for the Hawks on votefortheworst.com. The Sanjaya of the NBA.![]()
So did that bearded guy from Pardon The Interruption
I don't watch it, so I wouldn't know. Link?
poll is closed now
lakers were voted 1st
who cares? it doesn't matter what people want or what they predict. it only matters who wins the chip.
I don't pay attention to any ESPN polls.
ESPN is a second rate sports outfit. They are illegitimate. I ignore them.
speaking of polls
Amazing. The players think the Spurs' AT & T Center is still a House of Horror(2nd to Energy Solutions).
---------------
Which team's arena is the most intimidating to play in as a visitor?
Jazz's (EnergySolutions Arena) ...... 20%
Spurs' (AT&T Center) ...... 18%
Pistons' (The Palace of Auburn Hills) ...... 13%
Knicks' (Madison Square Garden) ...... 8%
Kings' (ARCO Arena II) ...... 6%
Celtics' (TD Banknorth Garden) ...... 6%
Clippers/Lakers' (Staples Center) ...... 5%

[Based on a survey of 242 NBA Players]
FAST FACTS: Carlos Boozer and Utah had a 20-3 home record through Sunday, tied with Dallas for the best in the NBA; the Spurs and Tim Duncan were 20-5 in San Antonio.... The Knicks, 10-14 at home, have lost 10 home games by 10 points or more.... At 22,076, Detroit's Palace has the league's largest capacity.... The Celtics, 20-4 at home, finished sixth in the poll (5.6%).
This is an expanded version of the NBA poll from the February 11, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated.
This poll is bogus.
The Mavericks have the best home record in the league at 23-5.
Everyone knows America Airlines Center is the most formidable arena in the NBA. Screw this poll. I know better.
Hard to believe they don't frighten anybody...
(think benny hill's theme song)
Well, I don't know if he reallly did, but he's a big fan of American Idol
(how can anyone watch that show anyway?)
I'd rather us fly under the radar.
My advance apologies for not knowing, but what's this 'SPAM' thing? I'm trying to become fully integrated into this forum.
The Alamodome would crush those numbers.
IMHO, It was the most intimidating arena to date. Even to this day, the legends of the ghosts behind the curtain still live.
You did read that this was based on the opinion of OPPOSSING NBA PLAYERS, didn't you? But I guess since you and every1 else knows better, that's it? BTW, what team do "you and everyone else" play for?
Actually WGAF what "you and Everyone else" knows.
Do "you and everyone else" know that if Mavs don't get their ass in gear, they won't even have to worry about the playoffs?
Can't believe Staples Center with all the Hollywood glamour crowd didn't make that "most intimidating" list.
This is really terrible. The team that finishes first in the ESPN NBA Power Poll gets awarded five free points in any playoff game they choose!!!! So it's really important!!!
Best Teams.
Spurs
Celtics
Pistons
Lakers
in that order.
Hey that's how we feel about the Mavs. How 'bout that!![]()
Of course the Lakers and Celtics would top such a poll. Their bandwagons are full nowadays.
I agree. The NBA players voting makes this poll credible.
