Any particular side of town?
Hey guys,
We are looking for halls to host our wedding reception next May but I'm running out of ideas. I've looked all throughout TheKnot and SanAntonioWeddings.com but I'm just not seeing THE ONE. We most likely will be having it at a catholic church hall since those seem to be less expensive and we have a little bit more freedom when it comes to caterers, decorations and such.
If you know of any places or have any suggestions could you help a sister out here?
We need it to fit 300 people, and we want to provide our own caterer, and alcohol MUST be allowed![]()
Thank you!
Any particular side of town?
St. George Maronite center on bab is where we had our reception for 300+ people and it turned out good. Not sure about providing own caterer, but we had plenty of alcohol..Just an Idea and good luck.
If I ever get married again, I'd be fortunate to have 10 people show up. On the bright side, it wouldn't be very expensive.![]()
What the ? Why? Are you famous?
I went to a wedding that had over 900 people attend.
It felt like a concert.
My wife had 300+ (friends and faimly) invited to our wedding and I think I had 20 (friends and faimly). Oh well, nothing but good times since....
yeah 300 peeps...my family is pretty big. it doesn't matter what side of town really. the church is on wurzbach an i10 so we want it relatively close but its not a major influence.
Okay, I'll post a bunch more links for you later tonight.
St Matthews?
If i'm not invited you better make it 301 is all I'm saying.
What about your GF?
My brother's wedding had people in the 1200-1300 range, mostly because it was out of country.
Why is everybody telling how many people attended their weddings again?
Congrats.
Los Patios is really pretty ...

I don't think I've ever known 300 peeps in my lifetime!![]()
Seriously ... I have no grandparents, no parents, no aunts or uncles or cousins I've talked to in the last 10 years, so my side would have: My brother, SIL, niece & nephew.
Chris is planning on making a list one day of who he'd invite ... hey, it's a start.
I think even knowing that many people that you'd actually invite to your wedding is pretty damn cool.![]()
I know...for my mother being Italian, we're pretty skimpy on the relatives side.
And Chris mentioned Sunken Gardens as a possible location....do they even do that there?
