Does nobody realize that there was no confidentiality contract between Walsh and the Patriots?

Matt Walsh can say whatever he wants, whenever he wants, he can reveal any tapes he may have, and the Patriots can't do a damn thing about it.An attorney for the Patriots told ESPN.com that Walsh did not have a confidentiality agreement with the franchise or anything else that might prevent his cooperation.
The only legal action that can be taken by the Patriots is if Walsh was lying this whole time. So why does he need high priced lawyers from the D.C. area?
