pretty solid list...gervin's a little high though
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailyd...me-GreatestSGs
Their list:
1. Jordan
2. Kobe
3. West
4. Gervin
5. Iverson
6. Drexler
7. Miller
8. Maravich
9. Monroe
10.Dumars
I like the list.
Mine is a little different:
1. MJ
2. West
3. Kobe
4. Ice
5. Maravich
6. Miller
7. Iverson
8. Drexler
9. Dumars
10. Monroe
he usually was.
Still, a fair spot IMO.
Oooohhh man, Pistol Pete was a ing baller.
yes he was.
Imagine what kind of numbers he would have put up with a 3-point line.
Damn.
Can't really complain regarding that list.

mind boggling... and his passing... WOW
Yea I can't really argue with the list, just had to throw the anti-spur comment in there for fun. I agree that Maravich would have been at least top 5 with a 3 pt line.
Ummmm Earl "the Pearl" Monroe? Where is Black Jesus on that list?
Edit: oops missed that at first glance, #9
The thing is in the old days = Robinson and West were "just guards" and rotated positions.
Oscar Robinson is still better than Kobe regardless of all the media and today's hype and the big O could have given Jordan trouble anytime.
yeh it was Robertson! Yao what a dumb error.

But is Oscar Robinson better than Oscar Robertson? Now, that's the question.
iverson ahead of drexler????![]()
You're Garbage.
America, eatin' my lunch from a single bowl in my parents basement, where I'm livin'. Happy Birthday, I'm forty-three.
Don't want to waste those precious calories...chewin'. Jesus come move my jaw for me, help me get my sloppy food down my throat.
Agree:
He did do pretty good with the handicap of looking like an elf with those dumbo ears - earily similar to Casell overcoming "that the look of a martian deal".
One of the funniest lists I ever saw was the all time NBA "all ugly" team and Casell was on it and Reggie was honorable mention.
If the injuries wouldn't have happened, Grant Hill would be on that list.
Sorry, but that isn't even up for debate. If Iverson retired today, he'd go down as the better player of the two in a landslide.
What about T-Mac? If he wasn't constantly hurt, would he be on that list? I don't think so because of his lack of playoff success.
It certainly is.
Iverson has no business nowhatsoever being on this list. He's immensely overrated.
Iverson does one thing well: score. And he's very inefficient at that, having to attempt a ton of shots to get his points at the expense of things that really win games like ball movement, passing, leadership, and quality shot selection.
All the other guys on this list (except for Gervin) were either great passers or rebounders to boot.
Iverson's the most overrated basketball player of the last 10 years.
Besides Philly in 2001, most of the teams he's been on have been awful and his selfish play has been a major reason.
