I don't want to trade up for McFadden.
Barber is a solid back, all we need to do is find someone who will split carries with him.
We can draft Felix Jones, who's as good as McFadden and will cost less.
Dallas is in a bit of a dilemma right now. Do they keep Barber and trade for a another first round pick so they can pick up McFadden or do they keep Barber and search for another back in the draft?

I would say go with Barber only because so far he is a proven commodity.
I'd say keep Barber, go after Moss, and draft someone lower, like Peewee said, perhaps Felix Jones.
Seriously... the thought of an offense with Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn, Patrick Crayton, and Jason Whitten as your recieving crew... is ing terrifying. Completely blows away the Patriots crew.
Moss=Moss
Owens >>>>>>>>>>>>> Stallworth
Glenn >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Welker (most overrated WR in the NFL)
Crayton > Gaffney
Whitten >>>>>>>> Watson
do not trade both 1st to move up...we need a solid corner like cromartie..and then draft a guy like mendenhall or stewert...
Ok but what about TO?
That would never happen. Moss and TO could not co-exist, plus one would have to give up the number and that in itself would create problems.
As long as the team is winning, everyone would be happy.
I disagree.
I think winning is the key for them to stay happy. This team will still be winning. Plus, they are both coming to the end of their careers. They know that they will be judged ultimately by championships, and they need one bad. They have plenty of money, they have the stats, and they are both locks for the HOF. Now they need the ring.
And what are you talking about giving up a number? Moss was 84 in Minny. 18 in Oakland (had no problem with the fact that Jerry Porter already had 84, and just went ahead and changed to 18). 81 in New England. I don't think that he would really care that much about his number. Do your research before making groundless accusations like that.
Winning in the past has never kept their mouths shut sans this season but both caught a ton of balls and won. I'm not so sure I'd sacrifce balls to Witten to keep either of these guys content, it'd be too predictable.
I don't mind moving up for McFadden as long as it doesn't cost them Barber. I see no reason to move him.
Accusation, it was more like an opinion so calm the down. I just don't see it happening, TO wants to win yes, but at what cost? He couldn't share the light with Moss. As far as the number goes I was just throwing that out there as an extra excuse, so players the number matters, others it doesnt chill the down.

It's not McFadden vs. Barber. It's McFadden with approx. $65 million contract as #1 overall pick vs. Barber with 2 mid to late 1st rounders. Tying up that much salary in one RB is crazy given the needs that could be met with that money and those picks. It's about scarcity of resources and law of diminishing returns. That's also why I question the resigning of Flozell.

DMac is just not worth the price. Plus you just got to see what Marion can do if he gets 18-24 carries a game. We just need someone to pick someone up to carry the ball 8-10 times a game. I like Felix Jones.
McFadden runs high and has a tendency to fumble. For what it would cost in players and or drafts picks used to address other needs - not worth it.
Given the depth of the draft in running backs and receivers, I think DC should dangle a #1 pick again for a high #2 and a #1 next year. Hopefully, the team dealing will crash and burn unlike Cleveland last year.
I wasn't mad. I just felt that it was stupid that of all the things for you to pick on, you say that he will get butthurt over not having the number 81, when in fact, he has only had that number for one year in his career.
I think it is you, who needs to calm down. I presented facts to you. Present me some facts, or shut it.
Looks like you need to calm down.

mcfadden and moss are never going to happen
too less of a spotlight for too many hogs!
Dunn is Done. His fifteen minutes were over 5 years ago.
Cromartie is now projected to be in the top 10 picks after the combine. Try again.
