No.
That's what it comes down to. Anyone agree?
If anything, I'd say 3rd quarter where they scored just 8 points.
I'd put rebounding, and not having your best perimiter defenders a tad higher..
Tonight the Spurs hit some late shots. I think Rip Hamilton hitting that follow through unintentional prayer after the foul canned it. Other than that, the Spurs fought through their 3rd quarter drought. I'd say defensive rebounding is more of an issue, at least it was tonight.
Rebounding, missing easy shots. What's new with this team.
Well, we have a couple of cupcake games coming up to help ease the pain. Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Sacramento.
These threads...OMG...these threads

Wouldn't be SpursTalk without them.![]()
Wow the Rockets hold the best record in the West...
Wow...
The Lakers do.
Like the way the Spurs fought back in a questionably reffed game. 6 FTAs on the night?
Tims final made shot with 'Sheed trying to hump him was b.s.
2+1 there makes it 82-81.
Ealier Sheeds elbow to Tim after the bucket should have been an auto foul.
Since when are the refs blowing 'Sheed!?
Pops telling Stoudamire to force more shots is another offensive genius move by Poppy .
Not a bad loss all in all. Lakers are losing now that they play some real teams. New Orleans will now get a taste of the injury bug with West and Chris Paul questionable for Sundays game at Detroit.
Rockets are in a coma, what can you say.
Indeed
I am sure Spurs could be champs for many years in the Euroleague, where games last only 40 minutes, like our energy.
Oberto is not closing the games out, but I'd really like to see him not clang wide-open, 4-ft shots that are 1-ft short and bounce down from the front of the rim. Over and over and over. He can't even get the ball into the cylinder. Amazing. And he still gets paid for this ?
