I dunno. I would be almost tempted to mail this one in. Play the bench most of the game...rest starters.
With this schedule, it's more about surviving with a decent record and your starters intact and healthy... then trying to win every game.
Pop should have a war room. "Ok guys, the schedule is a monster. We go all out on certain games, and try to recuperate on others. These are the games we'll try to win, and these are the ones we use the bench and rest our starters."
Our starters look tired and worn out right now. It's about winning the war, not every battle.
Mebbe developing a long term strategy to do just that is called for during this stretch. You gotta be able to stay in the top 4 of the conference...and still be healthy and rested for the playoffs. Very, very tough with our schedule.
Good luck Pop
Changed my mind...win this one Pop, rest 'em tomorrow![]()

This ain't the Spurs year.
Pistons by 9, book it.
Spurs--95
Pisstons--91
Flipper's been "tinkering" with lineups lately (not including his precious starters, of course) and the team's a little out of sync. Spurs should be able to abuse both Dixon and Jarvis all night, Dice has been in one of a slump, and Tony always gives Chauncey trouble. Still, the Pistons *should* be up for the Spurs, so I predict a close one. I just hope Flip doesn't forget he has a bench and play the starters 40+ each.
Spurs by a hair, maybe. 96-93.
Spurs 91
Pistons 83
Spurs will have a 6 point lead with 3 minutes remaining in the game.
Then they will start playing like and allow Detroit to make a run.
Final score : Detroit 145
Spurs 80
Spurs aren't playing well but they should win this one for pride alone. it. Spurs win by some amount.
pistons by at least 10 but i think closer to 15.
90-80
