Congrats you son of a !
i know what lots of yall are gonna say...but i drove it...and i've read a ton of reviews and talked to ppl that own one and they all have nothing but positive things to say about it. it's a.....Hyundai. yes that's right....2007 Sonata with everythng but leather. they've really turned the corner as far as quality goes. it's a nice looking car...it fit all my requirements and had a killer warranty (remainder of 5yr/60k miles). it has 10k miles on it and blue book has it at retail for $17.4K....i got it for $13.5k.
Congrats you son of a !
We have a Sonata sitting in the driveway right now--it's a rental that we used for Spring Break, and I love that car! It is such a nice-driving car--I swear it's like a luxury car, and people can laugh all they want. If I were in the market for a new vehicle, that is what I would buy.
Thats a REALLY nice car.
Hyundai is a really well made and good car congrats![]()
I'm surprised at how well these things are made. It's an SE, has shift-tronic, V6-235hp, MP3 CD changer, safety features galore, moonroof, all the bells n whistles. I've never been in one, but I'm really impressed so far. I've driven accords before and this is really close. Anyways...thanks yall. I appreciate it.
I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent, nice car.
Hyundai has had a hard time getting over the perception of being junk, due to the cars they used to make, and people expected more, even though they were only just cars nothing special. They have come a long way since the '80s.
My 01 hyundai elantra is still cranking along... I have 95k miles on it and I'm honestly hoping it dies to give me an excuse to buy a new car but the thing just keeps on ticking along. Guy in hyundai maintenance told me 6 months ago or so that there is nothing that is in bad shape and the thing should last another 100k no problem![]()
my 06 corolla has 85k on it right now.
06?!?!?! dayam! we have an 01 Sentra that runs GREAT and has 100k miles on it. not a thing wrong with it either, we just need a bigger car. anyone wanna buy an 01 Sentra SE 2.0???
Congrats!
I just recently purchased a new car too.![]()
i got a 93 infiniti Q45 with 88.5k. i named him axel. "welcome to the jungle" was on the radio when my girlfriend said i should name it.
i drive about 40k miles a year.
thats not a bad looking car there.
not my color but a nice looking car still.
yeah in pictures...the color didn't work for me either...when we went and saw it, it wasn't all that bad. thanks.
nvm i read the entire post so...
If you have any trouble with it dude, take my advice.. my family are car people.. dad runs a shop and half the crap he works on is a Kia or a Hyundai. They are crap cars, bottom of the line. (no offense)
13k for that, was for the v6, nothing else dude. If you would have settled for a regular you coulda saved around 4-5K. You paid a few thousand for that v6 alone.
Anyhow what I originally said was, if you have any trouble out of that thing dude... take it back. Cut your losses and invest in a car that doesn't have a laundry list of bad news.
No offense, I don't mean to get on your nerves. I see more 04-07 Sonata's more than I do my penis in a day.
Your fuel pump or transmission is the first to go. Hyundai's are odd. One will run 200k the other will fart a brick at 20k.
Be careful.
Do not invest money in fixing this car, and if it farts get rid of it.

I drive a 99 Yukon. Last year they made the original 350 vortec, loud as .. 16mpg sucks but when some hot shot in a new SUV feels like running with me... they get ran.
well it's a good thing i have a bumper to bumper warranty for the next 4 years....thanks for the info though.
Aren't you running out of body parts to sell in order to fill that thing up?![]()
Nah I still got a kidney going for 36K on ebay right now. PM'd you the link.

I bought a 2006 Honda Civic not too long ago. I like getting 35 mpg.
Nice looking car dude! Blizz riding in style now!!
Hahaha, we'll see if you are still rollin' them eyes when gas is $5 a gallon or more.![]()
You may get "ran" more when you're sitting on the side of the road going![]()
No offense--I understand your right to a big vehicle, and I honestly don't care what you drive. I just wouldn't be happy myself when I pulled up to the pump in a 16mpg vehicle in this town. Everything is 16 miles away, at least. At $5 a gallon, I'd be spending $10 a day just to get back and forth to work.
