he'll also cost more than he's worth.
He is a free agent next year, he's a baller, plays "D", i think he would fit in perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he'll also cost more than he's worth.
The Sixers probably think he's perfect for them.
I heard Rasheed had a great game last night too. Let's get him!
He is young though, or do we only want people 36 and over??? If so my grandpa said he'll play for the league minimum!!!!!
Is he 6'6 or better and can knock down a j from beyond the arc??
iggy will get paid by philly
And we should sign him with the money you donate?
I'd like to have this boy with us... Why don't we retire all those grandfas we got in our roster?
he would be great on the Spurs
that being said, he's more than we could afford
we do need to get younger. but iguodala is not the prudent way to do it.
paying a non-franchise player (even if he is still a very good player) franchise money is the quickest way to bury a team.
Cause those grandfas win championships
Philly isn't going to let him walk. And given how well the Sixers are doing lately and their upside, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to actually leave (unless of course he gets a great offer)
Oh Hedo Turk with a sprained wrist and Jameer Nelson with a jaw contusion (got hit invadvertently by Howard). Both questionable to return.
GRRR, Sorry I thought I was in the game thread![]()
If anybody thinks he isn't returning to Philly, they're crazy. He's in a great position right now.
I don't trust guys who suddenly get good in the second half of a contract year.
it is perfect...MONEY...for him...whoever pays him...BUT...this WILL NOT...BE THE SPURS...
GO MANU!!!![]()
He's been a good player since he came into the league.
Igodala's always was good, it was just hidden behind Iverson.
I see him a lot hanging out at Qdoba during my lunch breaks![]()
Iggy is the definition of "borderline all-star" and I mean this positively.
Three issues that you have to account for:
1. Even if the Sixer management is open to him leaving, they are not dummies. They will simply not allow him to walk away without compensation. What would you be willing to give up in return?
2. Iguodala will be looking for "lead dog" money, even though he's not a lead dog. Spurs have little cap room to take on a contract that he'd be looking to obtain.
3. Sixers can offer him more money than other other "would-be" team. Athletes rarely, if ever, take less money simply just to change teams. Therefore, do not expect him to go anywhere.
Exactly.
I have a feeling he'll go with the highest bidder.
Lewis got $127 million so anything is possible
Too young. He needs another 6+ years before he's Spur material.
But seriously he'll want and get way too much money for what he is worth. The Spurs would probably hurt their future financial position if they were to s out theat kind of money he is going to command in the off season. Look what Lewis got.
Nice talent but - Pass.
