Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.
I found this in a fitness forum.
A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

At 16, a girl isn't emotionally ready to be having sex. She should still be worrying about zits and if she'll get asked to the prom. Plus, at this stage in their lives, the age gap is huge. When he's 30 and she's 24, that's different, because by then, she'll be emotionally more mature and can handle a sexual relationship.

well legally its wrong, but as long as its not rape, 16 is old enough to make the decision for herself. Of course I say that now, while I don't have a daughter, I'm sure when I have children my opinion will change considerably
