You'll be disappointed.
Nice tanking job by the Jazz tonightThey almost made it look like they were trying.
They suck on the road bu the Rockets will be an easy series for them
You'll be disappointed.
I think Houston can win this series, as the Jazz stink on the road...17-24 is a terrible road record, and shows that if anything neither the Jazz nor the Rockets are really contenders.
That being said....I think the Rockets could squeak by with home court advantage...but I would put the series at 50/50....
The only reason we have a chance without Yao....is Luis Scola, he is nails.
DD
I will definitely be rooting for the Rockets.
me 2. I Hate the Jazz, but i cant see them losing to the Rockets 4 times .
Is it for sure that that's what they're doing? LOL, that's hilarious. Houston can definitely use that disrespect as fuel.
Definitely Rox, they've already shown what they can do without Yao, and Rick's a great coach. They're lucky to get home court though or they'd be fishing after the 1st. round again.
Jazz in 6.
Rockets had an awesome season despite everything but they just don't have enough starpower to win a series.
Yet another early exit notched on TMac's first round belt. But it's certainly not his fault...you can only do so much without another star player.
Jazz will win in 6 (assuming the Spurs hold on tonight):
Jazz
Rockets
Jazz
Jazz
Rockets
Jazz
Jazz will steal one on the road I think.
Yup Jazz tanked this game tonight big time and I don't blame them. I'll take the Rockets over the Spurs any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I honestly thought that Sloan would try and win tonight too..........but that would just be sheer stupidity to take on the Spurs when you can tank and play the Rox.
Houston really isn't a playoff quality team. Jazz in 5.
I love this thread.
You really think they have a chance to win more than 2 games against any West team in the playoffs? Even Golden State would win in 5/6.
Like I said, I love this thread. Your ignorance is clearly visible. Let me ask you, why aren't the Rockets "playoff quality"?
Because they're 5-7 deep, two of which are rookies. Your second best player is Carl freaking Landry and I don't think TMac is nearly as good as Rocket fans still think.
Our second best player is Carl Landry? Since when?
Ignorance...ignorance.
I love what I've seen from him and would take him over Scola and others.
actually this thread is pointless, as things stand now it will be houston vs phoenix, and spurs vs jazz in the first round.
That doesn't mean he is our second best player. Scola has been the most consistent, and had 22/10/4 today. Landry had 4/3.
No it won't.
It's pretty much set
Round 1
Nuggets at Lakers
Mavs at Hornets
Jazz at Rockets
Suns at Spurs
mmkay.
Rafer Alston missing at least the first 2 games probably will spell doom for the Rockets. I say Jazz in 6.
