Bavetta and Co. hooked the Mavs up with 40 free throws today, and they still lost by double figures.

Yeah, even with their crazy fans the Hornets got no 'home cooking' at all today. You are hardly ever gonna get a better refed game on the road in the playoffs than this one.

If only we could've gotten the fair shake in the 2006 Finals when we were good enough to win it.

If only SA could have gotten said fair shake in the 2006 WCF. Go back and look at the FT stats from that series.

Can't believe I picked the Mavs to take the series...I forgot they turn into the Washington Generals when the playoffs start.

yeah, I just looked at Game 7 where Duncan alone outshot the whole Mavs team from the free throw line. No, there was no foul on Dirk at the end of Game 4 (when he tweaked his ankle). I will admit that, but the series was not decided by that. Damp and Diop were in constant foul trouble.

That was classic gutless Maverick basketball. You'd have thought there was ebola virus on the basketball the way the Mavs players didn't want to touch it.

I changed it after a wide open Kidd 3 that hit nothing but backboard...

If you watched the game, you know which one I'm talking about-I mean the dude does it all the time, but it's like knowing you can't fight...you probably shouldn't do it much because it's going to end badly. Why does he keep shooting?

What I want to know is....how did a wide open 3 by Kidd hit nothing but backboard when he went 2-2 from 3?

I saw that shot, so either they counted it as a 2 attempt or a pass since it didn't draw iron.

Oh so it was 1 of the 2 shots he missed last night.

He hit a long two and a three earlier, so it wasn't a bad shot other than the fact that he just got gutless like the rest of the team and bricked it. I remember thinking that he was going to hit it because of all his playoff experience.

Since Kidd didn't even draw iron on that shot, I'd say he's right.

Agreed. And when they play like that, I have no reason to try and defend their play. No fan should. If they want to go out there and the bed on a grand stage, then let them do so. Guys couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and they acted like the paint was inhabited by Great White Sharks. Pussyball at its finest.

    Oh, and Burger King
