Hair Question

This is a question for men and women with long hair. So when you wash it and rub is it normal to get some single strands of hair on your hand? I get like 20-30 strands of hair lost when I take a shower. Is this normal?

It's normal, I shed like crazy and I won't be going bald any time soon. When your hair is longer you just notice it more, I'm sure it's fine. If you're really concerned, however, look into your maternal grandfather's balding patterns, and that's a pretty good indicator.

You could always donate your hair and pretend like you were doing this all on purpose just to be a good person, chicks dig it. Plus, you get a nice little certificate from Locks of Love once you finally hack all the hair off.

try avoiding having ur scalp in hot showers all the time...

and only shampoo or moisturizer once every few days....

Even normal for short hair. I think you lose up to 100 strands a day. But, like Jekka said, you just notice it more when you have longer hair. I don't notice it nearly as much as I did when my hair was longer.

I've always lost tons of hair. My daughter is the same way. I just always keep a hand vac and lots of Liquid Plumber in my bathroom.

It is my understanding that male pattern baldness is inherited from the mothers side...If her dad was bald you are screwed.
