he is basically eligible for ROY honors next year since he has yet to officially make his NBA debut.
This question just popped in my head.
Since Greg Oden never played, or even on the Blazers roster his "rookie" season....well
Would next year be considered his sophmore season because it will have been a year after he was drafted? Or would it still be his rookie season because it's the first season he will actually play. Eligible for ROY?

Greg Oden is really a 50 yr old man. I mean look at his face. What 20-yr old looks like that? He's friggin 50 and his body is fragile. Either that, judging by his face, he had a REALLY stressful life.
You might be able to play 1 or 2 games your first season and come back the next and be considered a rookie, but not 3. There was a case about this years ago for someone who played 3. Don't know the current rule.
edit: oh this case was only for the all-rookie team, not ROY. Probably playing one game disqualifies you, but the rule could be reviewed.

im guessing some sort of hormone disorder
Maybe, maybe not. You know LeBron looks older than he really is. It could be my second option and Oden just had a stressful life.
if he was really 50 why would the Trailblazers draft him at #1? Don't you think they could figure it out?
portand should not have drafted him they are idiots
