Actually I saw Tim say, "What the " about the clapping.
Anybody see Oberto confront West about his clapping.
You could obviously tell he said What the . Stupid/childish thread it may be, but I saluted Oberto on that one.![]()
Actually I saw Tim say, "What the " about the clapping.
I saw Manu says damnit!
No no, I clearly saw Oberto mouth/annunciate , he wanted to make sure the camera got that.
I think he tucked his tail and ran and Duncan said a few words to him.
No I'm pretty sure Oberto did not back down, because I got uv pumped by his reaction, someone youtube it or something.
I saw Chris Paul tell David West to "shut the up"![]()
I didn't say Oberto backed down. But I did see Tim say WTF.
That was a response to septic, my response to you was:
I saw Oberto mouth/annunciate , he wanted to make sure the camera got that.

Oberto isn't a pussy like Dirk. He's not gonna take .
I clearly saw the Hornets collectively say this is the gayest thread ever. Sadly, I must concur.
Ah the old tough phobic comment.
West is also a !? Man we need to beat these guys.
I saw Chris Paul tell David West " him" (referring to West getting a technical for pushing Robert Horry)
i thought the nba wasnt down with taunting and ?

Oberto needs to do more than say '' '' in this series....
Too bad Oberto cant guard West.![]()
I've been an Oberto supporter for a long time ... but I have to say I've been disappointed in his play in the postseason. He usually steps up his game when it matters ... but he just hasn't done it in the playoffs.
Luckily the Spurs traded for Thomas or else they would have been swept by the Suns if they had to rely solely on Oberto.
Come on, Fabby, turn it around.![]()
Agree. The guy who did a decent job over Amare last playoffs, with a great round against Boozer/Okur and played solid on Ilgauskas in the Finals, this playoffs he left without saying goodbye.
Now his play yielding a poor confidence level, changes in line up and bigmen rotation don't help him, but he should adjust and try to play in his new role. Shame but I really think he's better than this cheap version.
On other hands, yesterday West scored only 10 points and we lost again.
I don't sure but Spurs bigman defense isn't such a big problem. Or rather isn't the bigger problem against Hornets.
The problem really isn't that Oberto's underperforming, it's that the whole team is and Oberto's following suit.
He's really a more of a "glue-guy" that you don't expect to produce or create plays. He's there to complete plays (He still catches the occasional pass for the easy lay up) and while the Suns series posed match up problems with him, in this series, our offense is shot, so he's not there to complete garbage points and make the correct pass. When our team is on their A game, Oberto's one of those players that keep the machine oiled. Unfortunately Spurs aren't playing like a machine anymore.
All he can do right now is stand in the right place and give fouls. Oberto's too smart of a player to be considered garbage.
The Spurs have come now to completely relying on Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili to play well from an offensive standpoint. They are getting little or no help in this series.
Gino is injured and Parker is not getting enough clean looks at the basket. All three of these guy must be "on" for the spurs to win.
That hasn't happened yet in the first two games.
