Maybe so, but the way he's been overrated is ridiculous. He gets some sort of glory for "shutting down" Duncan in that series when Dampier played the whole game and Diop came off the bench with fresh legs in overtime.

hes a nice backup center. gotten to the point where he doesnt up open layups anymore on offense, and plays solid defense.

I love Diop and he's a great defender IMO.

Im not saying Diop is a scrub. Im saying unless the Mavs can use their LLE on Diop, they need to stay away from him. They need to use that MLE on a player such as Pietrus,Barnes,etc etc. Athetes on the wings for Kidd to run with and A low post scoring bigman.
