Dude, calm down.
he will come back i promise, he's just mind ed that tony is out there playing. patty mills went ham and carried when tony parker was injured on that road trip. patty mills is clutch and is good when he is under pressure.
We need to restrict all these Mills threads and just sticky the CoMills thread. Frankly it's tiring to read all these homer posts which act like Patty isn't ninth or tenth in the rotation for a reason.
I estimate the OP has started 10 Mills threads in the last month.
Out of curiosity...what's your deal with Mills? Are you Australian? Is he your role model? Not trying to be an asshole but you honestly seem to be obsessed with him for whatever reason.
OP is weird. Patty Mills is my guy but people like jkid are delusional if they expect Patty to be the star and playing 40 minutes a game.
How do you plan on fulfilling that promise OP?
If this were the case some other team would jump to.try to get hin in a trade by now. He is a 8th man at best on a good team and anyone with bball knowledge knows it.
patty 1-9 but 5 assists, 4 steals, 1 TO. He contributes, even when his shot is off. That to me means he is staying in the rotation come playoff time.
And no, I am not an aussie.
His defense on Curry was pretty good today
Everyone has an off night. Not worried.
I wish Patty had faith in his teammates when his shot isn't falling. Too much chucking tonight.
I didn't even notice. Boris shot what, 2-20 today? I don't care in the slightest. It's just an off night for Boris. I already know what he can do.
Same goes for Patty.
Mills went 1-9 and Boris went 2-14? That's it. Time to replace them in the rotation with Ayres and Cojo.
Patty is a great player and has been one of the best back up point guards in the league right now. That being said, Patty is just that: a back up pg. He is going to have ups and downs, but all in all he has been fantastic. I trust him fully.
I have no problem w/ Patty taking shots. That's his role. He just took a couple shots very early in the shot clock tonight, and given his poor shooting, he instead should have worked the ball around more to find a better shot for a teammate. You know, the whole pass up a good shot for a great shot philosophy that makes the Spurs offense so great.
In the playoffs, those extra passes (and therefore better shots) are damn valuable.
his +/- was good, he had steals, assists and ran the floor. OK shots were not falling, but in the minutes he had it was a solid backup performance.
Four steals is pretty impressive.
Dumb, win streak wgaf
imo mills is bonafide and has proven himself. it was around the RRT i really started to trust him. everyone has an off night and we didn't toss parker the first time he shot 4-11 er whatever. mills still contributed even on a bad shooting night, that's how you know he's legit.
I'm starting a thread en led "plz have faith in manu if he has off turnovers".![]()
plz have faith in p millzzzz even when he plays dreadful defense in the playoffs and can't shoot
