You expect them.... but will it happen?
Just because it's at home?
They are playing like ing . I don't see anything positive about this game to come home too...
Not looking good right now but I expect the spurs to bounce back next game and tie it up once again. After that, may the force be with them.

We gotta get six like they needed 5. Still, this is bull ,piss poor nonsense. Who's sick tonight ?
Spurs may still be ok. Come game7 NO might get nervous and that's where experience may really help the Spurs.
That's what people have been saying since Game 1.
Well we will see what the Spurs are made of, if they pull it off in 7 i would say they have the mettle to go all the way.
How in the world did David West get 34 pts and Duncan only 8 pts. Still Duncan has 18 rebounds but Parker has also been shut down.
Geez, my memory is failing me....have we ever gone 7 games in any series since we've acquired Duncan? I think this will be a new experience for them.
2005 Finals
2006 semifinals
Game 6 is in doubt for me. NO will come in a little banged up but very confident they are the better team now. It is all on the big 3, they all bring it and we win, and have a shot in game 7.
Tim was pretty good in game 7 05 finals
Great in a losing effort in the 06 semifinals
Yeah, I see the Silver & Black bouncing back and taking Game 6.
But ... they can't win in New Orleans. Plain and simple.
Series is over sunday, and the Hornets advance.
Hornets have the voodoo....BUT THE SPURS HAVE THE FORCE! Whatever pop is doing at home expect it the next two games! GO SPURS! TAKE IT IN 7!
Hornets in 6
Looks like it's going six.
Timmy's got to take a look at himself in the mirror if it's going to go longer than that.
The Hornets aren't going to lose confidence, I don't know when the Spurs fans will realize this. We all thought that our "experience" and "veterans" would help us this series, and in turn, we've looke dlike a bunch of inexperienced rookies compared to this team. We have a very good chance to win Game 6 (still not a given); Game 7 would probably go to New Orleans.....
Quit living in the past dimwit!
2006?
We're in 2008
He's 2 years older...
Spurs need to get game 6. If they get that then maybe they can luck out in game 7.
It's hard man. The way the melted in the 3rd was ridiculous. 4 straight TOs and game over, everything you did up to that point is lost? you wave the flag when you can't hit 4 straight shots and commit the same number of TOs?
Same happened in both game 1 and 2. They just kill themselves. It's obvious they will come out of the half with higher intensity so you have to be ready for that. This game was at reach most of the time. The Spurs had multiple opportunities being 6 or 8 pts ahead to put it away, it just didn't happen. Then just one good run from the Hornets and it's over.
Spurs' stars played like garbage. Some players just can't get it done on the road. A lot of soul searching is needed now. If you are going to melt away like that then just don't show up and spare us of this.
Guys give it up. Your team couldnt even make the Hornets sweat in a MUST WIN game 5. A mentally tough championship poised team doesnt do that. It is over. Move on with your lives. You guys ed up and losing tonight is indication that your season is over. Start thinking about great fishing spots for the spurs.
I agree. The Spurs can't win on the road this postseason, and I don't expect them to start now. So, either they lose Game 6, or Game 7, but they won't win both.
God, my memory is failing me - the Dallas game! Well, then I can only say - Been There Done That Don't Mind Doing It Again.
Hornets were a little concerned in the first half and the crowd suddenly stopped booing but too many errors and a problem with confidence. They don't hit their shots straight and it's game over. This was a repeat of games 1 and 2. Some stars can't bring it on the road so a lot of soul searching is needed. Let's see. It's all up to them.
Since game 1 of the Hornets/Mavericks series nonetheless.
Give it a rest!!!![]()
