2006 Mavs vs. 2008 Hornets

Who's better? I say the 2006 Mavs, and we took them to Game 7 after winning Game 6 on the road, after being down 3-1.

To me this NOH team is just on a streak.

Spurs were better that year, all the games were so close, that series was truly great as Timmy said.

Obviously I'm a Mavs fan but I can be objective. As a fan of the NBA in general, I say the '06 Mavs. I like these Hornets but the '06 Mavs were really good.

The 06 Mavs really had very few weak points. It's not until Avery lost if after the Game 4 loss in the Finals that they imploded.

Also, as most of you have also mentioned, the 06 Spurs were much much better as well. That really is the greatest series I have ever watched. It was amazing basketball, by two teams at the top of their game. It will be a long time before anything matches that.
