It seems like the whole basketball world is gearing up for Spurs vs. Hornets Game 7. However, I'd like to caution the basketball world that the Spurs still have some business to do before it even gets to that point. Game 6 is the only game that matters. If the Spurs even think about looking ahead, they'll be a lot of sad faces in the AT&T Center tonight.
The Hornets are no joke. A Spurs fan can point to any number of excuses but the bottomline is New Orleans has destroyed San Antonio five times this season. One of those five destructions took place in San Antonio.
Are the Hornets beatable? Sure. But not if the Spurs and their fanbase treat the game tonight like a prologue to a Game 7. This is it. Game 7 doesn't even exist at the moment. There is no tomorrow to look forward to if the team doesn't take care of today.
Survive this one game.
