yeah
1. New Orleans has never played a game 7. SA has played two game sevens, one in 2006 and in 2005.
2. The momentum is currently on the Spurs' side. Yes, only the home team has won, BUT the Spurs have won three out of the last four after dropping the first two.
3. David West may not be 100% on Monday,
1. New Orleans hasn't done a lot of things until this year.
2. The momentum has shifted so much I don't think that is a factor right now.
3. West will be fine I bet.
The Spurs have gotten their azz blown out four straight times in New Orleans. The Hornets have no pressure. They weren't even supposed to give the Spurs a fight in this round. Not to mention the fact that most picked the Mavs to beat the Hornets in the first round.
The Spurs have pressure to not get blown out yet again and actually make this one a contest.
I hope the Spurs dont' rely on this type of thinking. NOH has already proven that they transcend the "experience" factor.
Hornets are fearless. Spurs should treat them like Detroit.
The Spurs have led at halftime in all three games this series in New Orleans.
HOWEVER
CP3 is the latest darling
Spurs figured out how to guard West...
Hornets haven't played facing elimination...
This is the most re ed thing i've read.
It's game 7 ... you lose .. you're out.
If that's not enough pressure, nothing is ... and that is a pressure that is equal for both teams.
And just to argue with your other 3 points, though the point above is enough...
1. Do you really think a game from 2005 and 2006 mean jack ? Seriously. I watch a lot of LSU football ... and i don't think the way LSU played Florida in 2005 has anything to do with how they will play them in 2008. That's in stupid logic. Not too mention .. first game 7 in N.O. Hornets history .... i'm sure the arena will be ROCKING. I guess we won't factor that in though now will we? ....
2. Why do you think they have that momentum? Yeah ass, maybe because 3 of the last 4 have been in SA. I guess momentum will swing back in the 4th quarter of game 7 when NO has the crowd behind them? Or no? ....
3. I love Horry, but that hard foul where he dug his head into West's back was bull . Your point is still taken though and there is no rebuttal for that.
That's because he's good. Open your eyes and take off the your Spurs glasses.
Sounds like a nervous NOH fan to me.
I hope Spurs call another Player only meeting during the time off and re-cap on what they need to do to get this done.... There is no ing excuses why they should lose this game... the refs, the ing about the refs, just play your ing game!!!
GO SPURS GO!!!
Momentum??? I thought Spurs had all the momentum after Game 4.......we all know what happened in Game 5.
The bottom-line is both teams suck royal on the road. There is no momentum in this series. Neither team has come CLOSE to even threatening to steal a game on the road.
It's a new game, a new day. The outcome of past games won't matter here. It's all or nothing. I'm pretty sure Spurs can win a game on the road.
Pressure is on both teams.
I do, however, expect game 7 to be pretty close.
It would be something to have a double overtime game. That would be a treat.
