NJ has to win the lottery first
looks like Devin might find a new home again.
exactly. NO WAY does this happen unless they get a top 2 (maybe 3) pick, which of course isnt going to happen.
The Nuggets are a mess. GK needs to go before anyone else.
I do like the idea of a Harris/JR/RJ/K/Nene starting 5 with a bench of Rose/LK/?/?/# 20 pick (the ? = someone coming back in an AI trade hopefully)
This isnt going to happen though.
Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby for Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, KVH contract, and the Nets lottery pick.
WTF?
Carmelo Anthony for Carter sounds like a good deal to me.
I think it will be Melo for RJ.
BTW the same article quoting this potential trade is also saying the Nets are looking at Diaw/Barbosa.
If the Nuggets don't move Anthony for someone with defense, they're going to suck it up again.
At this point, Ron Artest would be better for the Nuggets than Anthony. Hey, he's mental too, but at least he can shut down opposing players.
Would Shane Battier be out of the question? The Nuggets already have a plethora of options on offense, and his D would give them a boost.
Denver needs to trade AI and Carmelo for draft picks. Build for the future;. Melo has been overrated since he was drafted. Denver should try to get something back in return for him. Camby should get you a decent pick. Fire George and move on.
melo isnt overrated, he is just stupid. List the guys who can average 30/7 ? (he was a 30ppg b4 AI came and will be after he leaves)
He makes dumb decisions and is lazy on D, but his scoring isnt overrated. If anything his rebounding is underrated.
Id still move him for the right package BUT Karl is the biggest problem, not Melo
So the Nets are building for Carmelo + LeBron in '10?
Richard Jefferson, on the other hand, is very much overrated.
I cant see any package the Nets would offer as worth it, unless multiple 1st's were included.
Is Harris allowed to be traded again in this short period of time?
Go ahead Jersey. Team Carter with Melo.
